Top LeT commander Abu Qasim has admitted Operation Sindoor on May 7 dealt a severe blow to the outfit's headquarters in Muridke. In a video seemingly made to seek funds, Qasim is seen standing amid the rubble of the destroyed HQ. He admitted that many terrorists had trained at the facility.
"I am standing in front of Markaz Taiba ... It was destroyed in the attack. We will be rebuilding it and making it bigger... Big names in mujahideen got trained here and achieved faiz (victory)," he says.
Qasim's admission comes days after JeM commander Ilyas Kashmiri talked about the destruction at their Bahawalpur base, saying the strikes had ripped apart outfit chief Masood Azhar's family.
