Actor Ankit Raizada, who portrays Aman Singh Rajput in the TV show Advocate Anjali Awasthi, immersed himself in the spiritual essence of Shravan by visiting two of India’s revered Shiva temples — Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi and Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain. Calling it a “divine opportunity,” he described the pilgrimage as a profoundly enriching experience during the sacred month.
Ankit shared, “India is blessed with many serene and sacred Shiva temples, especially the ancient Jyotirlingas. Visiting Kashi Vishwanath and Mahakaleshwar during Sawan was a truly divine experience for me. These temples are not just architectural wonders but deeply spiritual places. Being there during the holy month felt like Mahadev himself had called me.”
The holy month of Shravan, which began on July 11 and runs through August 9, holds deep spiritual significance for Lord Shiva’s devotees. For Ankit Raizada, it’s more than a sacred period — it’s a heartfelt tradition shaped by family devotion. Reflecting on his roots, he shared, “Shravan has always been a deeply spiritual time for our family of Shiv Bhakts, and at the center of it all is my mom.”
He went on to share, “Every year, my mother observes the Solah Somvar Vrat — sixteen Mondays of dedicated fasting, prayer, and quiet resilience. Her deep and unwavering devotion to Lord Shiva is something I’ve witnessed since childhood and continue to draw strength from. For our family, Sawan is more than a sacred month — it’s a time that reminds us of our roots, the strength of a mother’s prayer, and the silent grace of Mahadev that always watches over us.
Ankit Raizada, known for his standout performances in shows like Dadi Amma… Dadi Amma Maan Jaao!, Meri Doli Mere Angana, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Rabb Se Hai Dua, and Jodha Akbar, has built a career rooted in dedication and faith — qualities that shine through in both his work and personal life.
