Lucy Foley's The Guest List, first published in 2020 has been granted the top spot on Goodreads Vacation Thriller Books. The book's synopsis reads: "The Guest List by Lucy Foley is a thrilling mystery set on a remote Irish island during the wedding of Jules Keegan and Will Slater. As a storm rages, trapping the guests, a dead body is discovered, and everyone becomes a suspect. The book explores themes of jealousy, betrayal, as well as the dark side of seemingly perfect lives. The Guest List has become a New York Times, Sunday Times and Washington Post bestseller and won Goodreads Choice Award for Mystery and Thrillers in 2020. Foley has written several other books including Midnight Feast, The Paris Apartment, and The Hunting Party.
Fans have awarded the book 3.8 out of five stars with one stating they "devoured it" and another adding it was their "choice for best thriller".
