has revealed the time inserted a line into a scene which wasn't actually there in the script.
Speaking on the Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast with fellow Suits actor Sarah Rafferty in January, Patrick, 43, was commenting on the opening scene of one episode.
The episode opens with Michael (Patrick's character) and Rachel (Meghan's character) talking to each other, it was here that Patrick said Meghan used a line that wasn't in the script.
He said: "Right off the bat a shocking line which apparently is not in the script. We have this crazy line where Rachel says she's not wearing any underwear and upon further inspection not in the script.
"I would be dying to know how it came about. It doesn't seem like something that Meghan would have improvised. It didn't feel like that to me for some reason that doesn't work.
"I don't know if maybe they came up with that in the moment, like everybody decided to do it or we did it, sometimes you'll do things as a joke not filming. It's nice to see these two flirting."

This isn't the first time has talked about his interactions with Meghan, now the , on the renowned 2010s legal drama. Speaking on the same podcast with Sarah, he remembered meeting Meghan for the first time before the first series aired in 2011.
He said: " and I had done a pilot before, a terrible, terrible pilot together. There was a setting up of a romantic relationship in that particular pilot too, and then we never saw each other again. The pilot failed, it was terrible and went away. So we had never seen each other or spoken to each other again.
"And then I saw her at the call[backs]. I was in there because I was the first to be cast for the show, so when I went in to do the chemistry reads with Rachel, she was right there. And she said: 'Hi.' And I went: 'Oh my god! So good to see you.'"
added that he knew just from doing the subsequent table reads that he knew would get the part, even if he wasn't so sure about himself.
He explained: "I think our just knowing each other and just getting to calm down and not have those nerves of just getting to know one another, really helped that chemistry read.
"And it was just clear that we had an easy-going thing when we went into that room. And it was pretty clear, if I remember correctly, that she was gonna get the part from the minute that we did the chemistry read. It was just so much easier than it was with anybody else."
is due to return to the UK's screens in The Bombing of Pan Am 103, a drama about the Lockerbie bombing in December 1988, alongside Connor Swindells, Eddie Marsan, and Merritt Weaver.
Speaking about his appearance in the drama, Patrick spoke about why it was important for people to watch the show. He said: "I think this is a really important story for everybody to be familiar with.
"Just in my short time working on this I've asked a lot of people, especially younger people, if they know about it and I'm shocked by the amount of people who don't know what happened.
"Ultimately this was a horrific story with an unimaginable loss of life, but also a group of people coming together to do their jobs and to find each other at a time of crisis. I think that is a timeless story and something we can always take value from."
The Bombing of Pan Am 103 airs tonight (Sunday, May 18) at 9pm on BBC One.
