Chocolate fans are in for a treat as a popular bar that was discontinued in the early 2000s has been found on supermarket shelves for under a pound. Cadbury Top Deck, a delicious bar layered with milk and white chocolate, made a return as part of Cadbury's 200th-anniversary celebrations last year, which was a win for many shoppers.
However, the fan favourite that first hit stores in 1993 has now been spotted for sale in Iceland at a price of just 87p, with customers describe the confection as "more-ish" and a "lovely snack".
Thanks to a post on HotUKDeals, an online shopping community where the offer was shared, customers were able to take advantage of the deal, reports The Sun.
One shopper said: "Nice little treat at a decent price. Added to my basket, cheers."
A second wrote: "These are very nice. Great price."
The limited edition bar can also be brought in various other supermarkets. Sainsbury's charges £2.20 for the bar, but those with a nectar bar can grab it for £1.75. Asda and Tesco have it priced slightly cheaper at £1.74 and £1.68 respectively.
Iceland's sale price of 87p is currently the cheapest, but it is unknown how long it will remain at its bargain price until it returns to the original cost of £1.75.
The product can be brought on Iceland's website, but, you will need to spend a minium of £25 to apply for the store's home delievery service.
You can have a look out for the offer in-store. However, it is not guaranteed that all of Iceland's branches will be running the cheap offer.
Cadbury celebrated its 200th-anniversary on March, 4 2024, and brought back various products including some of its 1095 "classic Cadbury Dairy Milk packs".
The confectionery company was founded in Birmingham in 1824 and is now the second-largest confectionery brand in the world, operating in more than 50 nations across the world.
The chocolate brand's Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Mint Crisp is also back in supermarkets, with a huge 360g limited edition bar costing £4.50 in Tesco for Clubcard members or a normal price of £5.
