The 30 most in-demand jobs in the UK have been revealed as Brits struggle to find work in the stalling market. Despite many people being out of work, there were a whopping 661,639 new job postings in the country last month, as per data from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).
This represents a 3.8% decrease from July, and a 9.2% drop between June and July. Neil Carberry, CEO of REC, said: "The last Budget's blows to business clearly landed, especially on hospitality firms, which is a key gateway into work for many." There are many highly sought-after jobs that firms are trying to hire for, but project managers took the number one spot, according to a list by GrabJobs.
The role also comes with a hefty annual salary, ranging from £29,000 to £35,000 for entry level positions and going up to £83,000 for those with lots of experience.
Other roles in the top 10 list include: cyber security specialists, graphic designers, pilots, and university professors.
