In a shocking incident caught on CCTV at the Civil Line intersection in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, a red car struck a woman riding a scooter with her two children. Following the collision, the woman quickly got up and attempted to stop the car driver, but the driver sped away from the scene—even as police personnel stood by and did nothing.

Initially, no immediate action was taken by the authorities. However, after the CCTV footage circulated widely on social media and criticism mounted about police inaction, the Raebareli police finally issued an e-challan of ₹5,500 against the car.

Fortunately, no one sustained serious injuries in the hit-and-run. The incident highlights recurring issues of hit-and-run cases, traffic violations, and lack of prompt police response—raising concerns about road safety and the need for immediate action from law enforcement.
