The other two accused, Zaib Ahmed and Pramit Mukherjee, are senior students of the college, while the fourth accused is a security guard. The medical report of the victim found evidence of scratches and bite marks on her body.

Shocking statement of lawyer in Kolkata rape case

The lawyer claimed that the love bite marks make the case suspicious, but government lawyer Saurin Ghoshal rejected it, saying that according to the Supreme Court, all accomplices in gang rape are considered guilty, even if they have not directly committed the crime. Police said that the accused had threatened the victim to make the video viral. Their mobile phones have been seized and sent for forensic examination.
