Meg Mathews is the latest celebrity to join the wave of excitement sweeping through London asOasis prepares for a historic night at Wembley Stadium.
Taking to Instagram, the former wife of Noel Gallagher and mother to their daughter Anaïs, revealed she was heading to the sold-out show, marking the band’s return to the iconic venue for the first time in over 16 years.
Meg, 57, showed off her outfit for the event as she kept things casual with a laid-back look consisting of a red and white Adidas bomber, a crisp white t-shirt, jeans, and layers of gold jewellery.
However, her post wasn’t simply about fashion as Meg proved that the special night ahead had clearly stirred up some memories for her. Reflecting on the band’s earlier days, she shared a nostalgic tribute to a gig that took place when her daughter Anaïs was just an infant.
“Reflecting on 25 years ago when @Oasis rocked the stadium with 70,000 fans, and Franny fru fru, Pippy la la, Rose & Ra Ra, @lexyroche made it right to the front barrier don’t know how we did it,” Meg wrote.
“Now gearing up for tonight’s show with 90,000 attendees. Time flies, memories remain. Anaïs only 7 months old then to watching her now so proud of her dad, a full circle that was me just 2 years older than nai nai running around.
"Tonight will be a celebration of family and friends, a moment to cherish. Seated this time, but the excitement remains just as strong. Here's to another 25 years of music and memories.”
Anaïs, now 25, gave her own subtle nod to the occasion by posting a snap of a large Oasis Live advert lighting up the screens at Piccadilly Circus, hinting that she too would be in attendance.

Wembley is bracing for chaos as fans flock to the stadium for what promises to be a milestone moment in the band's history.
The show follows a run of triumphant hometown gigs in Manchester, and the London dates were met with feverish anticipation. Tickets sold out quickly, with some fans shelling out upwards of £564 for prime seats.
The Gallagher brothers’ return to the capital comes after a long hiatus; Noel left the band in 2009 after an explosive backstage argument at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
The group’s reunion, announced last August, marks a full-circle moment for fans and the band alike.
The night’s lineup features Cast at 6pm, followed by Richard Ashcroft at 7pm. Oasis will take the stage at 8:15 for a two-hour set.
Their Oasis Live '25 tour kicked off in Cardiff to rave reviews, and will continue through Edinburgh, Dublin, and international stops across Asia, the Americas, and beyond.
