Netflix viewers have all issued the same 'disappointing' complaint about return of a romance drama after its promising start.
The streaming giant recently dropped the second season of My Life With The Walter Boys, which stars Nikki Rodriguez as a recently-orphaned teenager who moves from New York to live in Silver Falls in Colorado and move in with a family of seven sons and one daughter following a family tragedy.
The series premiered in December 2023 and a third batch of episodes is due to launch next year but viewers were less than impressed when season two began airing towards the end of last week. Some fans were left disappointed when the romance between Jackie (Rodriguez) and Cole (Noah LaLonde) had not played out in the way they had hoped.

One viewer wrote on Instagram : "This season was such a let down. Should've focused on Jackie and Cole, instead it was just a repeat of last season. "
They added: "Also there were so many boring/underwhelming storylines. I only watched it for Jackie and Cole and we barely got any scenes with them in. Ughhhhh so disappointing."
A second ranted: "Love this show… but I feel like this season was such a filler. I found myself skipping a lot. It felt like season one all over again. Now we have to wait for season three for another two years. I'll be watching – I just hope it gets better!"
Another angry fan complained that the wait for this season had been so long in the first place, and issued the same complaint as others regarding the lack of romance.
They wrote: "We waited two years for this? 10 episodes in which we barely see Jackie and Cole together, everything condensed into the last five minutes, and now we have to wait another year!? Please no!"
Despite this, some fans were actually impressed with the latest offering from the programme, which is based on the book Ali Novak.
One said: "Team Jackie and Cole forever!!!! I binged all 10 episodes already!!! So excited for season three."
Another said as they compared it to other streaming hits from recent months : "For those who may find the themes of The Summer I Turned Pretty too mature or the subject matter ofGinny & Georgia too intense, My Life with the Walter Boys makes for a perfectly pleasant substitution!"
