Rapper French Montana has got engaged to his partner, Sheikha Mahra. It has been announced this week that the couple are in the process of planning their wedding after having got engaged to each other earlier this year.
French Montana, 40, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, has been linked to Emirati princess Mahra Al Maktoum, 31, since last year. He previously had a relationship with reality TV star Khloé Kardashian and was once linked to fellow rapper Iggy Azalea.
His relationship with Sheikha Mahra is now heading for marriage after getting engaged to her. The couple reportedly got engaged in Paris just a few months ago, though the news of their engagement has only been shared this week.

According to TMZ, a rep for French Montana has just confirmed that the couple got engaged during Paris Fashion Week in June. The proposal is said to have been made shortly after he walked the runway for a fashion show in the city. He had been a model for a 3.Paradis menswear showcase in the same month.
The outlet adds that French Montana and Sheikha Mahra's wedding date, as well as other details for the nuptials, are said to still be being planned by them. TMZ states that both sides of their families are 'excited' about the union.
Sheikha Mahra is an Emirati Princess and member of the ruling family, as the daughter of Dubai ruler Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Her father is the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.
French Montana and Sheikha Mahra are thought to have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight. The musician kept details of their romance under wraps in an interview earlier this year.
Asked if there's a 'special lady' in his life that is motivating his decisions, in an interview on , released in June, French Montana responded: "I'll skip that one. I just want to keep my private life my private life."
He went on to say in the interview that they didn't want people commenting on their relationship. The guest suggested at the time that attention over previous relationships hadn't proved to be beneficial in his experience.

French Montaha explained: "I feel like every time [a relationship] hit the media, it was down the s*** after that. We don't got nobody commenting on our relationship, right now. I don't need extra comments on a relationship."
The rapper was notably once in a relationship with reality TV star Khloé for less than a year following her split from her husband Lamar Odom. French Montana and Khloé are thought to have remained on good terms since then.
French Montana even appeared on her family's show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Prior to their break-up in 2014, Khloé also ventured into his industry by appearing in the music video for his single Don't Panic that same year.
