TV star Jeremy Clarkson has issued a devastating update on his Diddly Squat Farm.
The former Top Gear host has revealed his farm, which is the subject of popular Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm, has been struck by infectious disease Tuberculosis (also known as TB). It comes after Top Gear host admitted he 'never got along' with Jeremy Clarkson as he made a bold statement.
The TV star shared the devastating update with fans on X as he wrote: "Bad news from Diddly Squat. We’ve gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated."
According to the UK Government website, bovine tuberculosis or bovine TB is "caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium bovis, (M. bovis) which is closely related to the bacterium that causes human and avian tuberculosis.
"All mammalian species, including humans, are susceptible to bovine TB."

The infectious disease is respiratory and can be transmitted "through nose to nose contact and also through contact with saliva, urine, faeces and milk".
TB in cattle is usually detected through routine tests before signs develop. But it is "also detected during inspections of slaughtered cattle".
There is also a risk that bovine TB can be passed to humans, too – either through unpasteurised milk, inhaling bacteria breathed out by infected animals or inhaling bacteria released from the carcasses of infected animals or from their excretions.
Jeremy was soon flooded with well-wishes soon after sharing the devastating update with fans on the social media channel. One fellow farmer wrote: "hell guy..... had the same with chicks here.. lost 100+ in a day due to predators. things like this is devastating to a farmer, others have no idea how it hits us".
Another responded with: "Oh no Hoping for the best, Jeremy." While a third said: "I’m sorry to hear that, it’s quite a thing."
Jeremy's not the only Clarkson's Farm star to have been struck by bad luck this week as his farmhand Kaleb Cooper revealed he was the victim of theft after his post knocker and tractor was stolen from his home.
The 27-year-old fumed on social media: "My post knocker was stolen last night.
"As well as the John Deere tractor.
"Can we please make this as hot as possible!
"What is going on with England at the moment!" In the post he also re-shared company Home & Country Fencing's plea, which read: "Unfortunately we have had one of our tractors and post knockers stolen over night from fulmer lane, gerrads cross a john deere 6630 reg is OU11ARF and a protech p200s serial number 10698 if anyone has any information please give me a call".
