The Women's Rugby World Cup 2025is set to reach its thrilling climax this Saturday, with the new world champions ready to be crowned after nearly five weeks of exciting rugby action.
Hosts England have been a force to be reckoned with throughout the tournament, powering their way through to a seventh consecutive final. The Red Roses have won the title twice and finished as runners-up on six occasions, and they're now aiming for a third victory as they face off against Canada, the world's second-highest-ranked team, at Twickenham.
The final at the home of English rugby is a sell-out event, with an anticipated crowd of 82,000 fans set to flood into the stadium to watch the action unfold. For those planning to watch from the comfort of their own homes, however, the match will be broadcast on the BBC, with presenter Gabby Loganguiding viewers through the big event.

With a CV boasting everything from Match of the Day to the Six Nations, Logan has established herself as one of the most recognisable and trusted figures in sports broadcasting over her nearly three-decade-long television career.
However, as well as reaching the highest levels professionally, she is also no stranger to openly discussing her personal life, particularly her marriage to former Scotland rugby star Kenny Logan and their twin children, Lois and Reuben. Here's what you need to know.
Marriage 'regret'After first meeting in a Fulham bar back in 1999, the TV host married former Scotland international rugby player Kenny Logan two years later. Having been married for nearly 25 years, the couple are no strangers to airing the ups and downs of married life, with Match of the Day presenter Logan often speaking candidly about their relationship.
The pair welcomed twins Rueben and Lois in 2005 after undergoing IVF treatment. However, Logan has been open about her regret at not having more children.
Speaking on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, she admitted: "I thought I'd have more children, I always thought I'd have four children. Just the other night I said to Kenny, when we were talking about our empty house and the future, that we should have had more children."
While she acknowledged that not having more kids was "out of her control in many ways", Logan admitted she was frequently left wondering how things had turned out this way.
"I think I know how it happened, because when you have twins as your firstborn, you think life's going to get back to normal, and it never does," she continued. "I mean, that's the same with everybody, but we were waiting for that day when we felt, 'Everything's under control now. Now we can have another baby.'
Admitting that she and her husband "should have just gone for it straight away," Logan added: "We were naively thinking that our old life of being more, I suppose, hedonistic and selfish was somehow going to come back."
However, despite not fulfilling her dream of having four children, Logan is a proud mother to 20-year-olds Reuben and Lois, who have both followed her into the sporting world. Reuben has emulated his father, playing for Sale Sharks and the Scotland U20s rugby squad, whilst Lois is an up-and-coming showjumper.
In discussing the highs and lows of her personal life, Logan has also confessed to having an affair whilst at university, speaking openly about it so her children would learn from it.
In her 2022 autobiography The First Half, the broadcaster revealed that she had an affair during her time at Durham University, as she began seeing a German tennis player despite already being in a relationship with another student named Ian.
Speaking to The Times, Logan explained that she didn't want to conceal her past infidelity from her children, to allow them to see that people are allowed to make mistakes and move on.
"You want them to know," she said. "You set these kinds of standards for your kids and try and give them a great example. But actually, that's not the full picture and they didn't know me before I became a better person. You're allowed to make bad decisions and then you move on. I think it's how you learn from those bad decisions."
However, while it happened long before she met her husband Kenny, he admitted that the revelation had taken him aback, as he said: "I didn't realise you had two boyfriends at the same time. That was a bit of a shock. It was a shock to the kids, too!".
Son's plea over sex life chatWhile Logan has been praised for being open about her marriage and personal life, not everyone is thrilled with her public discussion of the more intimate aspects of her relationship.
The presenter has often talked about her sex life with Kenny on her podcast, The Mid Point, especially after the former Scotland international had his prostate removed following a cancer diagnosis in 2022.
In discussing the impact the diagnosis and surgery had on their romantic life, the couple's conversations on the podcast have delved into topics such as penis pumps, testicle size and post-operative sex.
Despite the public praise they've received for not shying away from such subjects, the pair's candid admissions have caused embarrassment for their son Reuben.

The 20-year-old, who previously played for Northampton Saints before moving to Sale Sharks earlier this year, has revealed that his team-mates have teased him by playing clips of his mum discussing her personal life in their dressing room, leading him to beg her to tone down the honesty.
"I will openly say now that I said, 'Can. You. Please. Stop,'" he told the Telegraph. "I remember being in the gym at Saints, and the podcast was being played for half the gym session. It was only my second or third month there!".
"I did not know that that podcast had happened until I had heard it, and I remember saying to her, 'What have you been talking about online?'".
"'It's good!' she said. I said, 'I'm sure it is but you do have a late-teenage son in a rugby environment, so you have to think about that!' Maybe Lois was not affected at university with her friends, but I might have been."
This followed Logan's admission that she "makes life really difficult" for Reuben by discussing her intimate life, explaining: "He's like, 'Mum, it's really nice that you and dad have talked about his prostate cancer.
"Can you stop talking about your sex life for me though, because now I go into work, they play clips of The Mid Point in the dressing room at Northampton.'"
