Fire TV Stick warning issued as popular feature will stop working next month

If you have an old Fire TV Stick plugged into your television, you might want to consider buying something new. According to the team at , a popular streaming service is about to lose support on ageing Amazon devices, and it will stop homes from watching a swathe of popular shows, movies and boxsets.

If your current device is on that list and you love bingeing on shows such as Drive to Survive, Love, Death & Robots or Bad Thoughts you're going to need to head to Amazon's website and add something such as a Fire TV Stick 4K Max or Fire TV Stick 4K to your shopping basket.

What that means for customers paying for a Premium Netflix plan is that they may not get perks such as 4K resolution that they are paying for. In turn, Netflix seems to have decided it’s better to simply cut the cord than having users not get premium features.
