Mumbai: The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority’s (MHADA) Konkan Board has received an overwhelming response for its 2025 housing lottery. As of 6 PM on July 31, nearly 26,968 applications have been submitted for 5,285 flats and 77 residential plots offered under various schemes in Thane, Vasai (Palghar), Sindhudurg, and Kulgaon-Badlapur. Of these, 11,921 applicants have already paid the earnest money deposit (EMD)—a key step toward eligibility.
