The beloved prehistoric herd is back! Disney has officially announced the sixth instalment of the Ice Age franchise, titled “Ice Age: Boiling Point”, and fans can expect it to arrive in cinemas on 5 February 2027.

The news was revealed at Destination D23, with Disney sharing the exciting update on Instagram. The post featured the new title emblazoned across an image, alongside a teaser caption: “Ice Age: Boiling Point was just announced at Destination @disneyd23! Coming to theatres on February 5, 2027, the newest adventure takes the herd to visit never-before-seen corners of the treacherous Lost World! #DestinationD23.”

Familiar voices return
Fans will be pleased to know that several original voice actors are reprising their roles. Ray Romano returns as Manny the woolly mammoth, Queen Latifah as Ellie, John Leguizamo as the ever-cheerful Sid the sloth, Denis Leary as Diego the saber-toothed tiger, and Simon Pegg as the adventurous weasel Buck.

According to the official logline, Ice Age: Boiling Point promises a “dinosaur-and-lava-filled madcap adventure” that will push the herd into the depths of the Lost World.
