Sarkari Naukri: If you are associated with Scouts and Guides and are dreaming of a government job in Railways, then there is good news for you. Eastern Railway (RRC Eastern Railway) has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 13 posts of Group C and Group D. This recruitment is being done under Scouts and Guides quota.
Application process
Online application will start from 9th July 2025 and will run till 8th August 2025 at 6 pm. Interested candidates have to apply by visiting the official website of Railways www.rrcer.org.

Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for Group C (Level 2) posts must have passed 12th class, in which minimum 50% marks are required. However, if the candidate has passed 10th class and has ITI or NAC certificate, then he will also be considered eligible for this post. At the same time, for Group D (Level 1) posts, only 10th pass is sufficient, or there should be ITI or NAC certificate along with 10th. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) category are exempted from the minimum marks requirement.
Age Limit and Application Fee
The minimum age of the candidate for this recruitment should be 18 years and maximum age 30 years. Reserved categories will be given the benefit of age relaxation, in which Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates will be given 3 years and Scheduled Caste/Tribe (SC/ST) candidates will be given 5 years relaxation. Talking about the application fee, male candidates of General, OBC and EWS category will have to pay a fee of Rs 500, out of which Rs 400 will be refunded on appearing in the written examination. At the same time, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Persons with Disabilities (PwBD), female candidates, ex-servicemen and minority categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 250, which will be refunded in full after appearing in the examination. The fee can be paid only through online mode.
