OpenAI has launched the ChatGPT Go plan in India. This is the cheapest subscription plan of ChatGPT. The one-month subscription of the ChatGPT Go plan has been kept at Rs 399. The company has announced that all ChatGPT subscription plans can be paid through UPI, making it easier for users across the country to access OpenAI's advanced AI features. The company said, "OpenAI is introducing ChatGPT Go, a new subscription plan. It has been designed to make advanced AI features more accessible and affordable across India. Apart from ChatGPT Go, two other plans are available. This includes ChatGPT Plus (Rs 1999 per month). For professionals and enterprises who need access to higher scale, customization and the most advanced models, OpenAI has ChatGPT Pro, which is available for a monthly subscription of Rs 19,900. India is ChatGPT's second largest and one of the fastest growing markets. ChatGPT Vice President Nik Turley said that OpenAI is inspired by the fact that millions of people in India use ChatGPT every day to learn, work, explore creativity and problem solving.
India is ChatGPT's largest market after the US
Turley said, "With ChatGPT Go, we are excited to make these capabilities even more accessible and make payments even easier through UPI." The company's CEO Sam Altman said earlier this month that India is OpenAI's largest market after the US and it can soon become its largest market globally. Altman had said, "It is growing incredibly fast in India. Also, the way users are using AI, the way the citizens of India are using it, is really amazing.
