Along with this, supporting documents including PAN card, passport or 10th marksheet have to be uploaded.
A fee of Rs 50 has to be paid for this process. After submitting the update request, you will get a URN number. With which you can track the status of your update. If you are not able to update online. Then you can also get the name spelling corrected by visiting your nearest Aadhaar service center.
In how many days does it get updated?
After correcting the spelling of the name in the Aadhaar card, it normally takes 7 to 10 days. But sometimes it takes a little more time due to document checking or technical reasons. After submitting the update request, you can check the status by visiting the website or Aadhaar app through the URN provided by UIDAI.
