The Bihar Technical Services Commission (BTSC) has announced the recruitment process for the vacant posts of Work Inspector by issuing a notification. According to the notification, the application process for this recruitment will begin on October 10th. Once the application process opens, candidates will be able to fill out the form online by visiting the Commission's official website, btsc.bihar.gov.in. Applications will not be accepted through any other means. The last date for filling the form has been set as November 10, 2025.
Who can participate in the recruitment?
To participate in this recruitment, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria:
To participate in this recruitment, candidates must have passed 10th/Matriculation from a recognized board.
They must have obtained an ITI certificate in the Draftsman Civil/Surveyor/Plumber trade.
The minimum age of a candidate is 18 years, and the maximum age is 37 years for unreserved categories, 40 years for OBC, Extremely Backward Class, and unreserved women, and 42 years for SC and ST.

A total of 114 positions will be filled through this recruitment drive. Of the total, 35% are reserved for women native to Bihar. The category-wise recruitment details are as follows:
Unreserved Category: 444 positions
EWS Category: 111 positions
Scheduled Caste: 63 positions
Scheduled Tribe: 13 positions
Extremely Backward Class: 70 positions
OBC: 133 positions
OBC (Women): 34 positions
Application Process and Fees
To participate in this recruitment drive, the application process can be completed online only by visiting the BTSC's official website, btsc.bihar.gov.in. Submission of the prescribed fee along with the form is mandatory; forms without the fee will not be accepted. The application fee is ₹100 for all categories of candidates, which can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
How will the selection process be conducted?
To be selected for this recruitment, candidates will first have to appear in a written examination. The written test will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will carry a total of 100 marks. Based on the written examination, a merit list will be prepared for selection.
